About the Role

Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking a skilled Class1 Owner Operator Linehaul Truck Driver. The driver can be based out of any major city in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Run a dedicated route from the GTA to New York State while consistently following company procedures and maintaining high safety standards.
• Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
• Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a protected manner to avoid any damage.
• Communicate efficiently with central dispatch and customers.
• Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with safety regulations, company rules, and traffic laws.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
• Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
