  Responsibilities: 
 Liaise with customers to develop functional specifications for new mechanical designs
 Design solutions to meet the required functional specifications
 Undertake management of design projects when assigned
 Conduct design related risk assessments
 Produce design plan documentation
 Ensure that drawings are completed prior to the committed drawing release date
 Investigate and recommend design modifications to eliminate any customer issues associated with engineering solutions
