Detector Installation Technician – Mechanical Assembly

CERN in Switzerland is seeking a Junior Mechanical Technician to support mechanical installation and integration of the ATLAS detector during LS3. You will gain hands‑on experience in a cutting‑edge physics environment while assisting experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities include detector movements, installation of access platforms, sub‑detector handling, drawing interpretation, and basic machining. Fully onsite with 40 hours/week.
