Diesel Motor Mechanic – Full Time (Assignment Based)
Position Summary
Skilled Diesel Mechanic responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles, heavy machinery, and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Work is completed in workshop and field environments, in line with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, service, and maintain diesel engines and related systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Inspect and overhaul engines, transmissions, braking systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical components.
- Use computerized diagnostic tools and specialized software to identify faults.
- Carry out welding, fabrication, and minor machining as required.
