Automation & Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of five automation technicians to ensure a high level of performance and technical expertise.
• Define the team's priorities based on the plant's operational needs, projects and strategic objectives.
• Serve as the lead automation expert for all of the plant's control and automation systems.
• Actively participate in equipment programming, troubleshooting and start‑up when required.
• Ensure the reliability, availability and performance of automated systems to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and implement the plant’s automation strategy and roadmap.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing productivity, quality and operational efficiency.
