Director of Corporate Accounting

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Controller, the Director of Corporate Accounting is responsible for the daily operations of the department including supervision of the staff. Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements as well as the annual external audit. The Director will also be tasked with developing and maintaining accounting / finance policies and procedures for the department.



PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Daily operations of the Corporate Accounting department including monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
+ Monthly business unit and consolidated financial statements including the monthly narrative which summarizes monthly and year-to-date performance for System leadership.
+ External quarterly & annual consolidated financial statements including the MD&A.
