Summary The Civil Rights Division (CRT or Division) is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as the Director, Second Amendment Section. Responsibilities As the Director, the successful candidate: Provides executive leadership and strategic direction for the Department's nationwide Second Amendment enforcement program. Directs complex litigation, enforcement, compliance, policy, and outreach initiatives to advance the Department's mission. Establishes enforcement priorities and oversees litigation strategy, including affirmative litigation, statements of interest, amicus briefs, and motions to intervene. Leads coordination with DOJ components, federal agencies, and external stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation of Second Amendment enforcement.
