Distribution Coordinator

Hours – Monday to Friday, 6:00 – 2:30 pm (37.5 hrs/week, flexible start/finish times, occasional WFH on Saturdays for planning with time off in lieu).

Location – Gillingham (moving to Sittingbourne Jan 2027).

Salary – £30,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Be the first line of support and troubleshoot with queries on day-to-day operational challenges.
• Driver supervision via pre‑ and post‑shift briefings.
• Support administration of driver and vehicle compliance records.
• Ensure all distribution activities comply with Health & Safety regulations.
• Support daily load planning and associated administration to optimise fleet utilisation in line with Logistics KPIs.
• Create and manage KPI reports to assist in cost and performance reporting.
• Perform any other administrative tasks required for the distribution operation.
