About the role
- Team Global Express is seeking an HC Driver to commence immediately in Townsville.
- This is a full-time permanent role
- Overtime will be offered subject to operational needs.
- Safely operate heavy combination vehicles to complete scheduled local deliveries and pickups.
- Carry out scheduled deliveries, ensuring freight is delivered accurately and within required timeframes.
- Ensure freight is safely secured and restrained using straps and chains, and assist with loading and unloading as required.
- Conduct multi-drop pickups and deliveries, ensuring correct handling and placement of freight at each location.
- Complete daily vehicle pre-start checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
- Maintain trucks in a clean and serviceable condition, and keep the yard and work area tidy.
- Follow all company procedures, including hazard, near-miss, and incident reporting processes.
