Astec Thornbury seeks an Electrical Designer/Engineer focused on creating precise electrical drawings and documentation. Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Service, and Manufacturing to interpret customer requirements and translate them into effective electrical systems. This role also includes hands-on involvement in machine setups, transferring PLC programs, and supporting testing and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities: • Create 3-phase and single-phase electrical drawings and schematics • Prepare details for bills of materials and wiring diagrams • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine customer needs • Troubleshoot electrical systems and assist in installations • Participate in machine setup and initial system checks
