Electrical / Maintenance Lead - Chemical Plant

Minimum requirements for the role: A National Diploma or a BTech in Electrical Engineering is essential for the role. Relevant OHSA and regs exam (Pass) by the commission of examiners with 2 years experience, as required by the OHS Act for GMR 2.1 appointment is essential. A Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) Factories is preferred for this role but not essential. The successful candidate must be a qualified electrician registered with the Department of Labour and authorised to issue Certificates of Compliance (CoCs) for electrical installations, in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and SANS 10142. Must satisfy the competence requirements for appointment as a GMR 2.1 (general machinery regulation) appointee for electrical installations in the kVA range, as stipulated by the OHS Act and relevant regulations.
