Job Description
Become an Electrician Apprentice with Valard Construction, a key player in expanding substation infrastructure between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Engage in exciting projects dedicated to enhancing the energy grid.
In this apprentice role, you will support the construction of high voltage electrical systems in a fast-paced field environment. Assigned to a team, you will assist in tasks ranging from cable installation to interpreting complex electrical blueprints. Working in Salisbury, Memramcook, and Onslow, you'll ensure projects comply with safety standards and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medium to high voltage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the construction of electrical systems in substations
• Help install and service high voltage equipment
• Contribute to cable installation for power distribution
• Read and execute plans for electrical installations
