Job Description
Our OEM Client based on the Warwick University campus in Coventry is searching for an Emission & Chassis Dyno Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £28.43 per hour.
The Opportunity:
This role provides a hands‑on opportunity to support the operation of the Environmental Chassis Emissions Dynamometer at the APRL facility, based at Warwick University. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you will engage directly with engineers, academic partners, and third‑party customers to deliver high‑quality test operations across a range of propulsion and emissions programmes.
Reporting to the Test Preparation Engineer, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end execution of chassis dyno testing activities. This includes vehicle check‑in, inspection, preparation, and installation on the dynamometer, ensuring correct positioning, strapping, wheel alignment, and rol...
