Job Description
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Software Engineer in Chandler, Arizona for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This onsite position supports embedded software development for launch systems programs in a real-time environment. The role includes requirements development, architecture, detailed design, coding, unit testing, and integration activities within a collaborative multi-discipline engineering team.
Required Skills
- Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or a related field
- Object-oriented software development experience in C/C++ on a Linux environment
- Experience in embedded real-time software development, debugging, and testing
- Experience with real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or similar RTOS environments
