About the job Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator
EHS/ESG COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
REPORTING TO: EHS Manager.
DEPARTMENT: Environment, Health and Safety.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Group EHS Manager the role holder will ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, as well as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles across defined companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Key Result Areas)
Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness & Response
To ensure the company is compliant with the requirements of the Fire Risk Reduction Rules 2007. Their responsibilities include;
Ensure that the facilities have been inspected for fire safety by the relevant authorities and a valid fire clearance certificate is issued;
Coordinate, record, and conduct fire drills twice a year and give recommendations for improvement;
Train employees on basic fire & firs...
