Job title: Equity Analyst Job description: I) We are seeking a Research Analyst for listed and unlisted equity . Key responsibilities are: a) Research and analysis Company analysis - business model, competitive advantage, scalability, management, CG, etc (bottom up) Industry research - market trends and mega trends (top down) Valuation and Peer analysis Modelling: sanity check for assumptions and forecasts (not looking for excel minutiae) Due diligence if needed: plant visits, scuttlebutt, channel checks, etc. Research / investment meetings with various stakeholders Above should culminate in generation of investment ideas and providing actionable recommendations b) Deal execution (unlisted equity) Participation in negotiation Broad understanding of deal documents like Term Sheet, SSA, SHA, etc. Coordinating with other stakeholders like promoters, legal for execution and compliance Complete transaction life cycle documentation c) Performance monitoring: Preparing and maintain...
