External Audit Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee, organize, review, and evaluate the conduct of the engagement in consultation with the engagement partner; exercise direct responsibility over the on‑job training of audit seniors and associates.
• Meet the professions and the Firms technical standards as established in current professional pronouncements and Firm policies.
• Provide clients with quality service, preserve engagement and client confidentiality, and enhance professional relationships with client personnel.
• Share with concerned team members insight into the theory and principles of accounting, and the objectives, standards, and procedures of auditing.
• Review work outputs produced by staff and ensure that audit procedures are performed in accordance with standards.
• Identify specific issues relative to an engagement and determine appropriate strategies in consultation with the engagement partner.
