Facility Technician

Overview

TC Energy is seeking a Facilities Technician to support compliance and maintenance at the compressor station in Ile des Chènes, MB. The role ensures fire and safety equipment, waste areas, tanks, and general facilities meet audit and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aboveground and underground tanks (condition, levels, labeling)
• Perform fire suppression and fire and safety equipment inspections
• Complete waste storage area inspections
• Identify physical security issues
• Identify and document deficiencies
• Perform facility maintenance, including snow clearing, grass cutting, trailer and winch truck inspections, and yard upkeep/gravel spreading
• Provide contractor oversight
• Perform routine checks of compressor plants (monitor oil levels, top up materials, identify issues)
• Record hours and perform visual inspections on running equipment
