FAMILY ACTIVITY CENTRE FACILITATOR – LANGUAGE SKILLS (Student)

Hours of Work: Variable up to 36.25 hours per week

Location: Upper Canada Village (11 km east of Morrisburg)

Salary: $18.45 per hour

Period of Employment: June to August 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be a representative of Upper Canada Village
• Welcome guests to the Family Activity Centre in English and French, orient them, explain and animate exhibits, and facilitate historical workshops and demonstrations using crafts, music, drama, games, tools, and historical costumes.
• Assist with camp counsellor duties as required.
• Assist with school programmes in May, June, and September as required.
• Work safely at all times and report unsafe activities immediately.
• Embody the St. Lawrence Parks Commission’s equity, diversity and inclusion principles when interacting with staff and guests.
