Qualifications, Education and Skills
CARE course certification is an acceptable alternative to ACLS, ATLS, and PALS.
Requisites
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) mandatory.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) mandatory.
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) license.
- Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) mandatory.
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) – Emergency Medicine desired.
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) mandatory.
- Mini‑Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) mandatory.
