Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work on interior design assignments and client liaison, focusing on luxury hospitality and residential projects that include conceptual and schematic design through project completion.
The Role:
- Advise client on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination
- Participate in selection of FF&E color palettes and material presentations and generate specifications
- Select or design, and purchase furnishings, arts works and accessories
- Review and detail shop drawings for constructions plans
- Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for approval
- Subcontract fabrication, installation, and arrangement of carpeting, fixtures, accessories, draperies, paint and wall coverings, art work, furniture and related items
