Job Description
Puose:
The Film Equipment Technician is responsible for preparing, distributing and receiving filmmaking equipment in the Department of Cinema & Media Arts Equipment Room. The role provides service, technical support and safe handling instruction to undergraduate students completing course work and assignments, for graduate students completing thesis work, and as well as for approved faculty research projects.
Education:
Experience:
Two years related experience in film and/or video production in a technical capacity. Experience in the operation of digital high-definition professional video cameras and audio recorders. Experience working in a teaching environment.
Skills:
Ability to work independently and set priorities.
Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate use of equipment and safety procedures.
Ability to accurately interpret and summarize information.
