Job Description
Responsibilities
- Ensures the accuracy of journal entries, schedules, reconciliations
- Prepares and analyzes financial statements and reports
- Keeps updated on new tax laws, BIR regulations, and SEC requirements to ensure compliance
- Reviews and supervises financial processes and proposes recommendations for continuous improvement
- Liaises with external auditors for audited financial statement preparation as well as government agencies such as BIR and the city government
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy (required)
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Accounting, including financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, and external audits
- With at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and BIR rulings
