Job Description
Overview
To ensure accurate financial accounting, reporting and control. The role supports month-end processes, reconciliations, payments, and financial analysis, while providing insights, improving finance processes, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of all month end journals including, but not limited to: Sales, cost of sale; Petty cash; Stock opening & closing; Stock loss; Check GP % for reasonability; Courier charges; Rental and utilities; Bank charges; Depreciation; Prepayments; Workmens compensation accrual; Pre-operating Costs Reallocation; Laybye Sales; Salaries (HO, DC, retail, and casuals); DC Management Fees; Bank charges accrual and reversal; Reversal of accruals rental and utilities

- Loading of confidential payments and assistance with loading of rentals if required
