Fire Protection Engineering Intern (Nov 2026)

Our Building Engineering Team is looking for a Fire Protection Engineering Intern to join us in Brisbane. You will work alongside a supportive team on a variety of projects, providing assistance with technical fire protection design services for sectors such as defence, aviation, data centres, education, and health.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

• Support various phases of fire protection project design and delivery, from concept to construction and commissioning, helping to ensure high-quality solutions across different sectors.
• Assist in designing fire hydrant and hose reel systems, automatic fire sprinkler systems, alternative fire suppression systems, gas suppression, fire detection, and evacuation systems.
• Collaborate with engineers from different disciplines on large, multi-disciplinary projects to help develop integrated fire protection solutions for major clients.
