Job Description
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: East Durham, NY 12423
Type: Contract to possible hire
Compensation: $24.50/hr
Work Model: Onsite
12 Hour Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM - (two days on, two days off, three days on, two days off rotation- built in OT)
Forklift Operator Responsibilities
+ Responsible for receipt, administration, control, and management of inventory of raw and packaging materials.
+ Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) such as forklifts to perform all inventory moves.
+ Input and manage data related to items purchased and used by the company.
+ Complete daily stock transactions and supply materials to production areas.
+ Ensure inventory levels and accuracy using ERP systems.
+ Complete daily checklists and logbooks.
+ Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for departmental systems and processes.
