FPGA Engineer

We’re working with a semiconductor company in Barcelona developing advanced RISC-V processor IP. They’re hiring a Senior FPGA Engineer to lead the development of large-scale FPGA-based emulation platforms used for prototyping and customer demonstrations.

This is a hands‑on role focused on mapping complex RTL designs onto high‑end FPGAs, optimising timing and resource usage, and working closely with embedded and software teams.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate RTL cores into FPGA‑based prototyping platforms
• Develop I/O subsystems and performance‑optimised emulation designs
• Support internal teams with custom features, debug, and lab validation

Requirements

• 7+ years FPGA experience with Vivado or Quartus
• Proficient in Verilog/SystemVerilog (or VHDL), timing closure, and IP integration
