The Development Team Lead (DTL)'s primary task is to guide his/her team of software engineers. (Level A to C) The DTL combines technical expertise with leadership by helping the engineers in their daily work, monitoring code quality and ensuring that the developed software fits within the vision and architecture of the Bijenkorf eCommerce platform. The DTL looks for ways to optimize the development process and guide the team to research and implement new techniques. The main responsibility is to work with the other team leads and help the engineers maintain, improve and provide new functionality to the Bijenkorf eCommerce platform, considering the long-term strategy and vision.
