Job Description
Functional Skills Tutor – Up to £30 per hour, flexible hours up to 15 per week, start September 2025. Ongoing work.
We're looking for experienced Functional Skills Tutors in Peterlee to deliver 1:1 or small group Maths & English tuition to young people who aren't currently in full‑time education. These students may have been out of school for a while and can face emotional or behavioural barriers. What they need is consistency, patience, and someone who believes in them.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, personalised 1:1 or small group sessions
- Close learning gaps and rebuild confidence
- Track progress and provide simple weekly feedback
