Gateway Operations Manager

DHL Express is currently hiring a Gateway Operations Manager in Hamilton, ON. The Operations Manager provides operational management and support at the Gateway location to ensure efficient and timely pick-up and delivery handling of customer materials and shipments. They also ensure compliance with safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall efficient and effective Gateway operations, including oversight of import, export, airside, line haul, and parcel sort processes.
• Ensures all material is moved efficiently through the facility, once cleared, and connected to last-mile delivery facilities.
• Ensures personal and team safe operating practices are in place and safety metrics are closely monitored.
• Develops operations plans and budgets based on goals and objectives.
• Manage employee/labour relations through appropriate application of Collective Agreement.
