Job Description
Job Title: GI Risk Officer
Location: Philippines, Head Office
Reporting to: Direct: TBD, Indirect: TBD
Main Purpose of the Job
- Ensure the identification of all GI underwriting, claims, and facultative reinsurance risks embedded into the business.
- Ensure monitoring and reporting of key risks relating to underwriting, claims, and facultative reinsurance and their potential impacts to senior management.
- Ensure alignment of Underwriting and Claims actions with strategic and emerging risk mitigation actions.
- Ensure compliance with Group SII Policies – including but not limited to the following: Group Underwriting & Reserving Policy, Group Reinsurance Policy.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide an independent second opinion on UW and RI referrals and application letters.
