Head, Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)

The responsibilities associated with this position includes but not limited to:

Demand and supply management

• Ensure adequate supply to cater the RECs requirement of Retail Customers, Genco/RES, DUs, Regional & International Commodity Traders and Wholesalers, etc.
• Negotiate and maximize the value of RECs to improve profitability.
• Develop and establish short and long-term supply plan and alignment with offtake targets and opportunities.
• Ensure supply compliance with relevant policies and rules, such as but not limited to, the Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS).
• Provide daily, monthly and yearly reports of supply and demand situation of the RECs with risk identification and mitigation recommendation.
• Avoid any RECs to expire.
