About the Role
Amrize is looking for a Heavy-Duty Mechanic for a permanent position located in Nanaimo, BC. Heavy Duty Mechanics are responsible for equipment used in all areas of the shop and field.
What You'll Accomplish
- Perform maintenance and repairs on asphalt paving equipment such as pavers, rollers, milling equipment, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, heavy haul truck & trailer units, and other construction machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential problems before they escalated.
