Job Description
Locums - Hospitalist and Nocturnist coverage for Washington D.C.Clinical Role:
- Hospitalists and Nocturnists needed with September 1 target start date
- Temp privileges possible with clean files
- Ongoing coverage opportunity
- Shift times are 7a - 7p and 7p -7a
- Day shift responsibilities are primarily rounding and includes admissions Friday thru Sunday
- Average day shift encounters is 15.6
- 3 Hospitalists on during day shift
- APP on 9a-7p Monday thru Thursday; hours may change
- 8-9 Admissons on nights on average; also provide cross-coverage
- No procedures required, can request if have recent experience
- Closed ICU
- 24 hour coverage of ICU provided by Intensivists
- Hospitalist team responds to cods when available and does partiicipate in RRT
- 130 bed hospital with Level III Trauma
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligilbe Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
