Job Description
Job Purpose
Creating, enacting, and updating job safety programs for employees that encompasses government health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the workplace. Ensures all site staff are following established policies and safety regulations to help create safer office & construction site. Conducting safety audits, site inspections and training employees on the importance of health and safety on the job.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review and update policies in line with legislation and government requirements.
- Implement and maintain OSHMS to ensure safety awareness and compliance.
- Inspect sites/factories, conduct risk assessments, and address non-conformities.
- Oversee installations, maintenance, and safe disposal of substances.
- Advise management on injury prevention, public safety, legal compliance, PPE, hazards, housekeeping, and first aid.
