Import Coordinator

Our client offers global Logistics solutions Worldwide and are currently looking for an Ocean Import Operator to work at their offices based near Romford to join their Import team. The role would suit someone with some experience of freight forwarding. The purpose of the role: To work within the Import team to provide a full operational service for LCL and Groupage Import container freight from start to finish. There will be some FCL work also. Duties will Include: Providing Quotes/Rates for clients Liaison with shipping Lines and track shipments keeping clients updated of any problems Working with our overseas offices to ensure shipments are co-ordinated correctly Arranging for the containers to be unstuffed on arrival to the UK, working with our warehouse suppliers across all regions Taking care of necessary customs arrangements to clear cargo with our customs teams and ensure any local fees are collected Send out NOA and Invoices and deal with any invoice disputes Manifests and any ...
