Incoming Inspector (temporary contract - 6 months)

Summary

/Objective: The Incoming Inspector is responsible for inspection of advanced products upon receipt from Samtec’s suppliers and to ensure that they meet product specification drawing using a variety of test methods/instruments.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Inspect, test, and/or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications. (True position, cross sectioning)

Read and interpret complex blueprints for advanced products (ex. Xcede, Firefly, RF), supplier datasheets, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures required.

Disposition materials with details regarding accept/reject status.

Use various systems to record inspection measurements and record product non-conformances.
