The Information Desk Host/Hostess functions directs visitors to appropriate departments, controls and issues visitor passes, provides information as to patient room assignments, controls visitors in the main lobby, and presents a positive image to all who visit Wayne UNC Health Care.
Responsibilities:
1. Provides accurate information in response to telephone inquiries.
2. Greets all visitors professionally and gives accurate information.
3. Trains volunteers and newly assigned teammates on operation of information desk.
4. May assist the Department of Volunteer Services with general clerical duties when needed.
