**Position Purpose:**

At **Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center** , an Inpatient Wound Care RN plays a critical role in the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with complex wounds. This includes pressure injuries, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, and other skin integrity issues. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal healing and prevent complications, while advancing expertise in wound care through professional development and certification.

**What You Will Do:**

+ Assess and evaluate patient wounds to develop and implement individualized care plans.
+ Perform wound care procedures, including cleaning, dressing, and debridement.
+ Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
