Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
This position will over-see and manage the job tasks for the set up of trailers to be loaded outbound and inbound with freight at the customer.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The job functions listed below represent the essential job duties and responsibilities of the above listed position.
Monitor (WMS) warehouse management system
Operating personnel scooter or golf cart
Setting dock locks
Opening dock doors (electrical, and chain driven
Setting dock plates
Sweeping trailers, verify complete, safety and security checks
Immediately report issues observed with trailers during unload (holes in ceiling or at joints protruding nail head catching strapping, off aroma or evidence of pests)
Remove excess debris (verify clean)
Building of portable bulkhead and proper placing
Filing tasks in WMS
Applying stretch wrap material if needed
