Responsibilities
The Intergovernmental Relations Manager is responsible for managing the City of Kelowna’s overall strategic direction in intergovernmental relations, representing the City’s position and interests by communicating and negotiating with other levels of government and agencies. This position leads and manages the development of strong, impactful, and trusted relationships with federal, provincial, municipal/regional government and intergovernmental officials to proactively identify opportunities that advance and deliver on Council’s advocacy priorities, the City’s strategic interests, and emerging advocacy opportunities.
