Internship Opportunity – Material Testing Laboratory (Chemical Testing)

The Material Testing Laboratory is seeking an intern from a background in Pure or Applied Chemistry, Polymer Science, or Materials Science to support activities within the chemical testing function.

The intern will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Conduct chemical testing on rubber and chemical raw materials
  • Assist in test method development, including:Topic 1: Improving the determination of percent devulcanization of reclaimed rubberTopic 2: Conducting a feasibility study on alternative methods for evaluating percent devulcanization, aimed at enhancing the characterization of reclaimed rubber

    • This role offers hands-on experience in material testing within a chemical laboratory environment.

    Qualifications

    Undergraduate degree with a background in Chemistry or other sciences.
