About the Role
The Jr. Material Planner will be part of a focused, high caliber Supply Chain Management and will have to ensure that sufficient BOM and Non BOM Auxiliary materials are always available for smooth production continuity.
What you will do
- Ensure material supply meets production requirements, including safety stock target while optimizing cost.
- Manage ramp-ups and slowdowns to ensure no supply gap or excessive inventory.
- Plan and calculate raw materials requirements using S&OP and OPQR.
- Monitor stock movements to ensure FIFO is followed.
- Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Continuously monitor non-conforming raw materials and take action to deplete, scrap and, if possible, re‑use it (concession).
- Manage inventory risk and ensure contingency plans are in place.
- Ensure correctness of raw material logistic view in SAP.
