Overview
Reporting to the Head of Mining Sales, the Key Account Manager drives divisional sales growth and strengthens client relationships with existing and prospective customers. The role involves extensive travel within South Africa and internationally, representing the company and building lasting brand loyalty.
Responsibilities You will be responsible for all sales activities related to Excavators, Dozers, and Haul Trucks. You will develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients and projects within the mining sector. Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, including mine sites, contractors, and industrial clients. Prepare and submit tenders, proposals, and commercial offers, ensuring high tender success rates. Ensure accurate and timely machine forecasts and maintain up-to-date CRM records for opportunities and quotations.
