- Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and testing schedules
- Supervise concrete, steel, and composite materials testing
- Ensure accurate data recording, analysis, and reporting
- Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration, and inventory control
- Enforce safety procedures and compliance with SANS/ASTM/ISO standards
- Support engineers with prototype and structural testing activities
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in construction materials or engineering laboratory testing
- Knowledge of SANS, ASTM, or ISO testing standards
- Experience with hydraulic or materials testing equipment
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
Qualifications
- National Diploma / BTech / BSc in Civil Engineering, Materials Science
