PART – TIME LAUNDRY AIDE - Extendicare London

As a valued member of our housekeeping and maintenance team, you will provide a clean and safe environment to residents as well as staff in accordance with policies, procedures and work routines.

Time Type: Part time

Available opportunities: Day shift

Responsibilities

• Processing all house linens, washing, drying and placing linen on carts for delivery to units
• Processing residents’ personal laundry including washing and drying
• Continue processing other linens during shift such as isolation, dietary and housekeeping linens as necessary
• Cleaning of laundry equipment – i.e., removal of lint from dryers
• Labelling residents’ personal clothing
• Adheres to established company policies and procedures regarding infection prevention and control, quality assurance, fire, and safety etc.
