Job Description
We are building a new AI innovation team within Festo’s Global Capability Centre in Bangalore. The team’s mission is to bring advanced AI directly into industrial products—from intelligent motion control and autonomous systems to generative AI assistants for engineers.As Lead AI & Software Engineer, you will co-lead this team and help shape the next generation of AI-powered automation. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership. You will define software architecture, guide AI deployment in embedded and cloud environments, and mentor a growing team of engineers. This is not a maintenance role. We expect curiosity, ownership, and the willingness to initiate new technical directions.
