**Job Description Summary**
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer supports the design, sourcing, and production of complex aerospace components and assemblies for Edison Works Advanced Programs. In this role, you will drive design for manufacturing readiness, producibility, reduce manufacturing cost, risk, and ensure our suppliers along with internal GE shops can deliver safely, on quality, on time, and at cost.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Leveraging expertise in one or more of these areas - advanced machining, non-conventional methods including laser/ECM/EDM, welding, joining, fabrication, composites, inspection, ceramics, additive.
+ Experience in developing process methods, tooling and fixtures, programming and running production. Expertise in techniques that go beyond traditional methods to improve hardware producibility at the design phase and process development at the production phase.
