Job Description
What you will be required to do:
Join a fast-paced recycling and waste management facility in a hands-on leadership role, supporting daily plant operations and coordinating shift activities.
- Coordinate and oversee daily shift tasks to ensure smooth operations
- Act as the key point of contact between shift employees and the Shift Supervisor
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance and support
- Assist with the efficient running of plant operations and step in during Supervisor absences
- Report plant issues, breakdowns, and maintenance requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational or equipment issues where possible
- Ensure all employees follow site safety procedures and OHS&E guidelines
- Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing support to team members
