Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and motivated optometrist to join our academic team, contributing to high-quality teaching, clinical supervision, and community engagement.

In this role, you will:
Deliver clinical teaching and provide hands-on supervision, supporting students to develop strong clinical, diagnostic and communication skills.

Contribute to community-based education, including outreach clinics and placements within Aboriginal community-controlled health services, promoting culturally safe and responsive care.

Support curriculum delivery, unit coordination, student assessment and continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to enhance student learning through innovative teaching approaches, including digital and simulated learning environments.
